REACH Annex XVII (Awaiting Announcement): In July 2022, ECHA proposed adding MCCPs to the REACH restricted substances list, and an official announcement is currently awaited. Stockholm Convention (Proposal in Progress): In October 2023, POPRC-19 recommended adding MCCPs to Annex A, implementing a complete ban. |

TSCA (in effect): US regulations require companies to confirm whether the substance is an active substance and fulfill SNUR (Significant New Use Report) and CDR (Chemical Data Report) obligations based on its use. CP65 (in effect): To prevent contamination of drinking water sources, manufacturers and distributors are required to provide clear and reasonable warning labels. |
