On the 24th, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) published its "2035 Technology Strategy and Blueprint" and released its first "Sustainability Report." Director Liu Wenxiong said that in the future, the sustainability report of the previous year will be completed in the second quarter of each year to review the progress of the organization's sustainable development goals.
In terms of R&D achievements, ITRI showcased its achievements in developing independent technologies to help industries enhance their competitiveness, including achieving industrial independence in key silicon carbide semiconductor materials and creating the first domestic artificial ligament. To implement organizational sustainability, it also released a "Sustainable Development Strategy Blueprint," revealing ITRI's achievements in six major sustainability areas: technology research and development, industry promotion, social welfare, talent cultivation, friendly workplace, and net-zero sustainable environment. It also linked public associations and international partners covering industry, government, academia, and research to actively promote domestic and international industrial exchanges and technological development, demonstrating ITRI's determination and commitment to promoting industrial sustainability.
Over the past 50 years, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has been an important driving force behind Taiwan's economic growth. It is now a large organization with more than 6,000 employees. It not only needs to have research and development directions, but also needs to discuss how to move forward and move towards sustainable development of the organization.

The first sustainability report has been completed. Liu Wenxiong said that the 2023 sustainability report will be completed in the second quarter of this year, and the previous year's sustainability report will be completed in the second quarter of each year in the future to review the progress of the completion of sustainable development goals.
The president stated that the 2035 Technology Strategy and Blueprint is the research and development direction of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), which focuses on smart living, healthy living, sustainable environment, resilient society, and smart enablement. It has also achieved many results, including the introduction of augmented reality interactive smart windows on the Asia Bay Smart Ferry and assisting the flexible circuit board industry in recycling volatile organic compounds.
