The art of perfumery originated in ancient Egypt and was further refined by the ancient Romans and Arabs. During the Renaissance, it was primarily used by nobles and the wealthy to mask body odor after using the toilet. With the patronage of these powerful individuals, the perfume industry flourished. Today, aromatic essential oils are widely used, playing a vital role in both health and mental well-being. However, the fragrance market has long been dominated by international giants. Ruizhe Enterprise, located in the Sanying Industrial Park, chose the automotive market, often overlooked by these international manufacturers, and gradually achieved a leading position in the automotive air freshener market. Currently, it holds 127 patents in 8 countries, has launched thousands of products, and exports to over 35 countries. The story of Ruizhe's success is built on perseverance. The founding of Ruizhe Enterprise began with General Manager Huang Qijuan. After obtaining two master's degrees from abroad, she worked in the United States for a period before deciding to return to Taiwan to be with her family. She joined a local company that produced household air fresheners, but the company soon closed down. She and several colleagues discussed investing together and decided to start their own business, thus accidentally entering the air freshener industry. Not long after, her colleagues gradually found other jobs and left the company. Huang Qijuan, unwilling to see her investment go to waste, decided to persevere, thus achieving her current success. Recalling the early days of Ruizhe over 20 years ago, General Manager Huang said that in the early days, they used their own home as the company. The interior consisted of only two rented tables, the living room was the office, the kitchen was the spice room, and the garage was the production line. Because the company was just starting out, they couldn't afford high salaries, so they hired mostly mothers who had returned to the workforce. It was a difficult path! Under General Manager Huang's leadership, Ruizhe gradually transformed from home-based OEM manufacturing to automated and systematic factory production, becoming a designated manufacturer for world-renowned brands! Deeply rooted in the local community and dedicated to caring for the disadvantaged, Ruizhe Enterprise, a 100% Made-in-Made company from R&D to marketing, has been quietly working in the field of public welfare. General Manager Huang stated that since Ruizhe became profitable, it has consistently made regular donations every year, hoping to help some less vulnerable organizations that may not have high visibility. In addition, they have developed a series of public welfare fragrance products, such as "Magnolia Flower Scented Tablets," for the elderly woman who frequents the magnolia orchards, hoping to receive a wider response. Furthermore, Ruizhe Enterprise combines Yingge's famous ceramic culture with local characteristics in its fragrance products and organizes several student design competitions. They are also deeply committed to local care, sponsoring the Yingge Vocational High School volleyball team and dedicating themselves to nurturing students. Yingge Vocational High School volleyball coach Liu Zhongxian stated that with Ruizhe Enterprise's help, the team's equipment and gear can be used without worry, and Ruizhe is also willing to provide related internships, providing employment opportunities for local young people. With a people-oriented approach, Ruizhe Enterprise completed its Corporate Social Responsibility Report in April 2017. This initiative combines education, philanthropy, and green energy with a tourism-oriented factory that officially began operations. Ruizhe had already launched its MV breathable membrane product design in 2005, reducing product volume and weight, and lowering carbon emissions during transportation. The company also joined the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Small and Medium Enterprise Administration's "Green Little Giant" guidance program, completing its Corporate Social Responsibility Report and greenhouse gas inventory information. General Manager Huang Chi-Chuan stated that Ruizhe has always been committed to corporate social responsibility, but with the guidance of a professional team, the company can now conduct it more systematically and systematically. This guidance has enabled Ruizhe to maintain a more sustainable and systematic approach. As the company expands, Ruizhe is considering its next phase, aiming to establish a global presence under its own brand, achieving greater growth and market recognition. Future growth will be more macro-level, and the company hopes to gain a larger market share and expand globally. To enhance the green competitiveness of enterprises, the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs commissioned the Quality, Environmental and Safety Department of the Plastics Research Institute to implement the "Small and Medium Enterprise Green Little Giant Guidance Program." This program aims to assist manufacturers in meeting international environmental protection requirements and promoting green product design and marketing.
